Triton Smoky Hills (Smoky)
Smoky was bred by Red Fox Stables in Gilroy, CA., Helen won him in 1969 when he was a yearling by entering an essay contest open to 4-H members in CA. He was trained and shown by Helen here winning the 3 yr old Hackamore horse at GWNHS in Monterey 1971, it was his first show. Sadly he contracted bone spavin and was put down at 5 years old.

Our first mare for breeding and the one that we got when "Smoky" was unfortunately put down at 3 years due to bone spavin, Kameå was almost a family pet. Great with kids and an easy breeder, we had several foals from her during her many years before she passed at almost 30 years of age.
